In addition to our regularly scheduled classes, we have specialty and session-based classes, including youth and family offerings. Some of these classes require separate registration because space is limited and/or may require an additional fee.

Toddler Time Yoga

Music and movement fun for “mobile” kids and caregivers. Stretch and be social!

Fit For Life – Silver Sneakers Flex

Strength, Mobility and Stretch, designed for the Active Ager. Free for Silver Sneakers and Just Move Unlimited members.

Girls on the Mat

Exclusively for Girls, Ages 9-13. Through mindfulness and traditional yoga practice, participants will gain confidence, self-awareness and compassion, and learn to manage stress.

STRONG Small Group Strength Training

STRONG is body-positive strength training to make you stronger in body, mind and for life. Become part of a community who lifts each other up. Get empowered to be your strongest self.

Just Move Playdate

Grab the kiddos, invite your friends for some family fun! Enjoy our tot-friendly obstacle course for indoor free play & get to know other caregivers! There will be dancing and upbeat music in our “baby disco”. $5 per family or FREE for Just Move members . No pre-registration required. Just show up for fun!

Zumba Kids®

Designed exclusively for kids (ages 4-9), these classes are rockin’, high-energy fitness-parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines and all the music kids love, like hip-hop, reggaeton, cumbia and more. Parents love Zumba Kids because of the effects it has on kids, increasing their focus and self-confidence, boosting metabolism and enhancing coordination. Zumba Kids rounds out family fitness goals by giving parents a great reason to head to the gym – for themselves, for their kids, for a totally fun family experience.

Conditioning for High School Athletes

Get stronger. Improve flexibility. Help prevent injury. After-school convenience. Our workouts provide excellent cross-training for all sports. Classes are taught by certified fitness professionals. Become a better athlete with a variety of workout styles, all focused on efficient strength and cardiovascular conditioning: R.I.P.P.E.D. One-Stop Body Shock, Tabata Bootcamp, H.I.I.T. Strength and Cardio Circuit.

Trek Out

The outdoors – the best gym in the world! This class blends the exhilaration of being outdoors in any environment on mixed terrain with traditional-style fitness exercises. It is an enjoyable and accessible cardiovascular and strength-training workout for all fitness levels. Class will meet at the Portage Senior Center and then will set off to the wonderful Portage paths and parks.
